The Book Club in Which You Don’t Have to Read the Book

Here’s a new and different approach to a book club: The purpose is to engage in lively and important discussion. It is not to get everyone to read the book!
Guidelines
· Moderator picks the book.
· Role of moderator rotates among the members.
· Moderator provides a one or two-page summary of key points in the book via e-mail.
· Moderator may also provide a few discussion-stimulating questions.
· Summary of key points and questions is provided to members a week before the meeting.
· Moderator takes ten minutes at the beginning of the meeting to review key ideas.
· Anyone who wants to read the book may.
The meeting of the Bonkers Book Club with be on Wednesday, February 21 at 1:30 pm in the Sanctuary. If you are interested, please contact Ernie Stech at ernie1933@gmail.com. He will provide you with a summary of “The Nature Fix” by Florence Williams, © 2017. Subtitled “Why Nature Makes Us Happier, Healthier, and More Creative.”
